What a difference a month makes

A month ago we were in the throes of a serious drought. the wheat crop is still about effectively gone in western Oklahoma. Cattlemen were wondering what the heck they were gonna do about hay this year and a LOT of cattle got sold. The we had five and a half inches of rain here in my part of the state in June, and 7+ in the drought areas and it looks like the Amazon here. Well, if the Amazon were on the edge of a prairie this is what it'd look like. What an amazing turn around. And we haven't come close to a hunnerd yet and 4th of July is this weekend. Its gonna be a nice summer in Oklahoma it looks like if it don't snow or something!

Us too Barry, We weren't in the straights you were but it was starting to get serious. As of the added 11+ inches of rain they got above us, in the past 72 hours, - they are predicting 2 1/2 feet over major flood stage for the Iowa (that I live on) and within a foot of the highest recorded crest on the Mississippi (6 miles from me). If you don't like the weather....
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

I could use a light rain about now....wheat got harvested, soybeans planted right behind, got a pretty good stand....about 3/4 inch rain would be the cat's titty.

Its 91 degrees and hotter then hell.

Forest is dry and fireworks are around the corner.

Going to be a lot of fires from stupid people not being careful with them.

As I've gotten older, I'm starting to not like the fourth.

In my opinion, people aren't being responsible with their fireworks.

They don't give a rats ass about anything, but having a good time.

They don't care if they're stuff lands on your neighbors house or the noise scares the crap out of animals and humans.

It is illegal to set of legal or illegal fireworks, in my neighborhood.

The son-of-a-bitch, behind me, set off an M80 and just about gave my dogs and me a heart attack.

I can't wait to move onto lots of acreage, so I don't have to be around stupid people anymore.

The 4th used to be fun, not anymore.

Would 12/16ths do? Or does it HAVE to be 3/4?

Related word meanings for "flaccid", according to Merriam-Webster dictionary:

flabby, mushy, semisoft, soft, squashy, squishy, flimsy, insubstantial.
