We don't seem to have as many armydillers as we used to around here. Reckon they all went back down to Texas where they belong?

Why did the chicken cross the road?
To show the armadillo that it COULD be done!
WARNING - Due to the rising costs of ammunition, warning shots will no longer be given.
I've wanted to blow up an armydiller because they've given me the buck agar in the woods more times than I can count. But I can truthfully say I've never killed one with a gun. I've killed 'em with a pickup but not a gun. Still, they can pitter patter like a deer more than any other critter.
BKB
AND they always start their pitter-patter about the same time the deer should start movin' around. A double-whammy!

I keep a Crosman pellet rifle in my main deer stand, just to dispatch dillas....little or no sound, but deadly.

Posthole, I think all the armydillers have migrated to sw arkansas. I saw about 6 dead ones on the road to work

Holy moley.....there is NO F'ing WAY I'd put that nasty thing on my head!!!
I absolutely loath them critters. I've kill't several with a gun. One with my 7m-08 on the way to the deer stand. Several with my little Kel Tek 9mm, one with the Mini-14 (I'm sure I'm forgetting some)....and Di even got one in the back yard one night with the .22 and a spot light.
They are the "A" on my ABC kill on sight list. A-midillos, B-eavers, C-oyotes.
