    Our idiot in Chief....

He is having to eat his words about Iraq. Just like everything he said negative about Bush. He's getting his eyes open...
    What a joke.

Is it just my imagination, but isn't it sorta odd that less than two weeks after Odumbass released five of the most dangerous Taliban militant terrorists from Gitmo(in exchange for Bergdahl), that all hell breaks out in Iraq???

    Here's a headline I just read:

Obama: US must act to prevent genocide

Well, maybe that's true. Let's assume for a minute that it is.

So how LONG must we act? So we act, and that action stops genocide. Then what? Stay forever? Make them the 51st state? What?

Here's my point: Under the assumption that we are not going to stay forever, that we are going to leave sometime, then these folks are going to come back in and do it again. Do we not understand that this is Muslim A killing Muslim B??? This isn't an invasion of Hitler onto unsuspecting folks. This is one group of nuts shooting another group, and both groups hate the USA with a flaming passion. But mostly this is Muslim Sects fighting amongst themselves. The one you back today (always called the Rebels) will be the aggressor next year. This was true in Bosnia, Macedonia, and it's true now in the Middle East. There are no mixed race, all get-along-with-each-other groups of people. They don't like what we like, and never will.

They hate Israel worse, and if their camels would go that far, they'd bomb Israel also if they could. They hate anyone that is not like them, and desperately want them all dead.

    I don't get it. I never will....

    The End.

Right now it's not just Muslim killing Muslim. There had been a large Christian population in Mosul for the past 1600 years, but now there are none left. They have been tagging their homes with the letter "N" which stands for Nazarine, which is a slang term there for Christian. Then they have either told them they must convert or be killed. They have all either been killed or driven out and scattered across the Ninevah plain. That's the genocide that is going on.

Arty, I don't doubt that there are a smattering of Christians, and of course they're persecuted. But no, that's not all that's happening there. Here's an excerpt from a report today:

But the help comes too late for many of the religious minorities targeted for elimination by the Islamic State group, which swept past U.S.-trained and equipped Iraqi government forces in recent weeks and now controls much of Iraq.

A delayed response by the Shiite-led government in Baghdad left Kurdish forces struggling to contain the Sunni extremists' advances.

So now, the Sunni's are attacking Shiites. When we were in Iraq and Afghanistan to start with, we were told the Taliban is Shiites, the ones with Sharia Law, and the Sunni's were the Saddam Hussein types, much more middle of road. Now? Just the opposite.

In Bosnia, Clinton attacked the Christian Kurds and Others who were attacking Muslims. We protected the Muslims. They never appreciated it.

This is an internal conflict that we CAN NOT STOP EVER. Tell me how we'd stop it??? Answer my questions above.....how long do we intervene in the sandbox just to stop two insane bullies from fighting each other?? Forever??? Is the USA willing to do that??

Will we vote for the next Presidential Candidate that promises to get us out of the middle east?

    What's wrong with the US?

It ALL boils down to ONE word ... OIL! I don't care who you are or what you think ... oil is the only ... no, I'll give the U.S. a little more credit ... oil is the NUMBER ONE reason we're involved. Those people have been fighting each other for thousands of years and will continue fighting each other for another 1000 years ... that's just a fact of life. Our (the U.S.) only care is that someone who will work with us regarding oil access is in power. It doesn't matter if it's Satan himself ... if he'll give us access, we'll try to see to it he's in control. If ol' Satan pulls an about-face and goes the other way, Satan will be our enemy and we'll help install another "friendly face". It doesn't matter who does it ... our military or the CIA. If you think we're there because Christians, or wimmins or donkeys are being abused, you have your head so buried in the sand you can prolly see China if you open your eyes. That country was "Nationalized" and closed to Western oil interests before we "invaded". Who's there now? Exxon-Mobil, Chevron, BP and Shell! Of course these firms need their service companies ... they're all American companies, including Halliburton of course.

The same goes for all the surrounding countries around Iraq.

Let's stop kidding ourselves. Oil us the only legitimate reason to be involved.

It was all so much simpler when we were just battling those pesky communists here and there.

If the thing is about oil, then as much as I hate to say it, it is the Left's fault.
Let's get our oil this hemisphere from ourselves and our friends to the north. Bring in that doggone pipeline from Canada.
......And what it this I hear about US actually EXPORTING oil???
I have heard that there's supposedly more oil in Canada than the Middle East ever had. (and that was NOT from FOX news....this was from someone who supposedly knew what they were talking about.)

And while we're at it, pull the EPA off of the coal industry's ass.

AND we need to build more nuclear powered electical generating plants. Hells bells.....we have several of those here in my state, and we ain't glowing yet.

Yes, I do think one of the major planks in the next POTUS election platform(s) needs to be energy independence from all of those folks in the world that hate our doggone guts.

If you had a pack of rabid dogs running around your town attacking everything that wasn't a rabid dog would you do something about it or shrug your shoulders and say "well, they ain't in my backyard attacking my kids so let them go at it" or would you go shoot a bunch of them BEFORE they got to your place? ISIS and their like are rabid dogs and need to be put down asap for our own protection.

If it's about oil, where's ours?????????

All paid for at the going retail rate.

All about oil. Seems easy to say. Seems more like b/s when you think on it some. Just another easy way to blame some corporation....one that supplies YOUR addiction.

Open your eyes Bucky ... do you see China? If not, go ahead and bury your head a little deeper.

Our goal is to stabilize these countries so that we can move on with business. 'Course, stabilizing these hell-holes is a bit like training Johnboy's rabid dogs to play fetch or roll-over on command. It's an on-going, never-ending battle ... and always will be.

Open your Bible, them folks were fighting over there killing hell out of each other a thousand years ago before oil was even in the picture. They will be killing each other for another 1,000 years.

OK then. But not sure why that's such an evil thing...

And more like 100,000 more years.

I seriously doubt that the human species, no matter what kind of religious nut group they belong to, will be around in 100000 years.

But wouldn't it be cool to be able to peek into the future and see what really will be here in 100,000 years. I have no idea and wouldn't have any idea how to even wager a guess.

Ha! That reminds me of that old 60's TV show "Time Tunnel". I watched it religiously ... but I don't think they ever went into the future ... seems like it was always the past. They never wanted to fool with anything that would change the "future" (like save Abraham Lincoln's life or anything like that) because they had no idea what kind of affect it would have. I remember thinking that was pretty cool and it inspired a lot of thought in my young mind. It was like, if they saved Lincoln (made up example), who's to say Lincoln wouldn't have a kid later down the line who'd turn out to be America's version of Hitler? I thought that was kind of intriguing at the time. Like knowing AHEAD of time that Pearl Harbor was going to be attacked ... but how many scenarios could have transpired in later years if those killed would have been saved? The idea still intrigues me as I write about it here.

Nope ... if I'm around anything that sounds like flux ... I'd prolly go ahead and pop a Viagra just on the off-chance I didn't hear it correctly.

Back to the subject. I had to snort. Here's an excerpt from a local state newspaper columnist yesterday:

I'm still scratching my head over the message delivered the other day by our President Barack Hussein Obama.

He was addressing a group on a Muslim holiday. Among other of his statements, Obama praised the "contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy."

Hmm. What's throwing me most about that remark is the fact that our Judeo-Christian-centered nation didn't even elect its first Muslim American congressman until 2007. So I naturally wonder how in the world those who choose to practice that faith contribute specifically, or generally, or in any way to building the very fabric of our nation while also strengthening the core of our democracy.

Shoot fire, the ignorance of this Ozarks boy when it comes to comparative religions is showing yet again.
