I've bought plenty of tractors over the years but I've never bought a brand new one. They delivered my first a couple of hours ago. I'm a happy man. This is my get around in the woods, plow fire break, disk food plot, and bush hog around deer stand tractor.Believe it or not but it actually has a iPod/iPhone hook up to the radio.

I gots a 5410 series mfwd with a 540 loader and bucket, that is my little go-to tractor, as well....looks to be about the same size, as yours....you will love it!!!

Had an open station 5025 and traded it in on this one. It was good in the woods until you got into the occasional hornet nest or yellow jacket nest!
Can't wait to get into one with this tractor and watch as they bomb the glass!
As of now all our tractors (except my old 8N) are cab and air tractors.

I had to sell my antique John Deere, since I could not get up on it after my sugery(s). We still have the Orange tractors though. A 35 and a 30 horse. Your new Deeere looks to be in the 50hp range.
Does this one have an engine made by Deere, or Yanmar? I know for a long time all of their smaller tractors had Yanmar engines in them.
Nothing runs like a deere, or smells like a john.

BLAST! I've never seen one of those jokers before. I just THOUGHT the 5ft bucket on my Orange tractor way handy. That thing takes the tractor bucket to a whole nuther level of handieness.
I found a short video that someone posted up on youtube of his 4in1 bucket in use. I sure could have used a bucket like that when we were doing a lot of the stuff I've done at The Farm with "Big Orange".
I use to have a 4-1 bucket on some of the track loaders I run when I was grading for a living. They are like a extension of a hand. Great for leveling and fine grading. Also they will pinch a limb off a tree in a minute. Great for clearing.
I bought a 7 foot 4-1 for our 5525 several years ago and when I ordered this tractor I ordered the 6 foot 4-1 for it.
It's everything and MUCH more than a straight bucket.

Y'all got a dead Kubota??? Might as well have a stuck Toyota. Those things just do not happen. I must have awakened in some alternate universe this morning.
Check the main fuses....depending on model, but usually located under panel, directly beneath the steering column.

If I was you, and I realize I ain't, but I would NOT sharpen brush hog blades unless I was using it to mow a lawn. If you're hogging saplings the hog will bend them over and slice them into a nice sharp tire getters if you use a sharp blade. My old man did that on our big old drag type brush hog back in the 1700's when I was a kid and we learned that lesson the hard way on some persimmon sprouts.

We have two kubota s. Both down. One destroyed. Other is hopefully just a fuse. If not, will need helicopter to get it out of deep woods.

Ain't mine or they would be. 5 amp fuse fixed the L3540. The little guy (B7100??) Is out one driveshaft plus X plus y plus.....
About a day from being done. Downtime sucks.
We're American farmers. No Toyota allowed here. Oddly kubota is ok. Go figure.
Glad you're up and running, Buckney....might be a good idea to stick a few of those 5A fuses in those empty fuse holder slots, you know, just in case another one blows.
