Went from this yesterday morning:

To the point where we decided we needed to take my son to the ER as the case of cellulitis that showed up Friday morning was getting worse.
Missus ended up hitting a deer with her new car on the way but they were still able to drive it so that was good.
After a CT scan the youngest boy is on some serious IV antibiotics and waiting for an MRI sometime tomorrow. Praying the drugs do the trick and the MRI turns out positive.
Good grief.
Man........prayers for the boy. Cars are just things. Keep us posted.

MRI results showed two things:
- first was that there is an abcess in the tissue of his upper thigh that they are operating on today.
- second is they found a mass in the bone of his lower thigh that will have to be explored further after the initial infection is taken care of. Docs don't think it is serious but it still scares the hell out of me. Another instance where I wish I could trade places with someone.
