Day'um, Sunny, what'd you expect???....the squirrels are just doing what squirrels are supposed to do....they screw, then sleep, and then eat the tastiest handiest snack they can find....hence, your corn....come to think about it, humans do pretty much the same thing....'cept I like Cheetos.

Pretty sure squirrels don't check for expiration dates Sunny. They don't care if it's 3 days, 30 years, or 100 years old. If it's corn they are going to eat it.
