    Well...

The boy got his doe this morning so that is a relief. Shot my buck yesterday after a 3 mile walk into the teeth of one NASTY wind. I can assure you that deer hunting in sustained winds of 35+mph with gusts over 50mph is not overly fun. Now to help some friends this afternoon...which means I get to walk the nasty stuff to flush the deer out for them. My Charlie horses are going to have Charlie horses of their own.

Get 'em Bwana! Slightly less wind here - but not much.
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

    That is good stuff Bwana!
Don't know if I could have handled that wind...

Pics will have to wait until we get back home.

Our party of five ended the weekend one buck short of filling all our tags but that one should have been. Now just hope the weather & the docs allow next weekends hunt with the oldest boy.
