    In Okie City Today

    gas.jpg

Is still at 2.35 here near T-Town but we follow Oklahoma City by a few weeks typically. And I got 17 mpg on my new truck this past weekend coming back from my home town to visit my parents. Just one under what I got in the old Chevy but with 100 more hp.

Damn!! We just dropped to $2.65 and I thought that was good. It was $2.89 in PA over the holiday.

We have a local grocery store that offers a discount card that accumulates gas discounts that you can use at a local convenience store. I bought something at the store yesterday and it's up to 60 cents off/gal for up to 20 gallons. And dang it, it looks like my wife will beat me to the pump because I still have 3/4 tank in my truck.

three stations - 16 miles apart - 2.62 - 2.53 - and 2.44. By the way - say hullo to my old girlfriend Bettiy in OKC. 1/4th Cherokee - brunette with the darkest eyes you ever saw. The only one I kind of regret letting get away.

I live by those grocery points! My record is $.50 cents off a gallon but hey, it's money I was gonna spend anyway on groceries so getting the discount gas helps quite a bit.
