It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas

We had record snow fall in November, but it all melted and so far we've had a green December.
Last night the rain changed over to snow and it looks like this today.
Forecast shows snow the rest of the month.
Christmas is just not Christmas without snow.

That is not a B&W picture, it was done in color

Yes that is a black and white picture.... Now Jims is in color.
I'd go crazy if I lived in black and white like that!

I love the snow. On tv, in pictures, screen savers and postcards. I love beaches. On tv, in pictures, screen savers and postcards.

Guess I'm more of an in the middle type feller.

I'm with ya QA. Having both helps appreciate the other.

Me, too. I enjoy both and wouldn't want to live where I had either one all, or most, of the time.

Ya I do too. Songs like "White Christmas" weren't written for fake snow on a plastic tree, or "Frosty the Snowman" isn't about a snowman made of styrofoam balls.
"Jingle Bells, Dashing through the snow, I'll be home for Christmas' weren't either.
Christmas has always been associated with snow, you Southern Boys just don't get it.

Got it 2 years ago, 11 inches. Messed up travel plans for grandkids, kids, everyone. Pretty. For two days. Then worthless.

It never is. We fail in accurately acknowledging your greatness, however.

How can you describe what you cannot see? How can you hear without ears? Taste without a tongue?

Master, what you are thunders so loudly in my ears that I cannot hear what you say. What you do rings so loudly in my ears that I cannot hear what you say.

Yea, though the very soul of your imminent eminence reverberates though all my being, I shan't provide you with that which you seek, lest your skirts become blown to proportions only seen in fairy tales.
