    Okie deer are cannibals !!!.....

    Just kiddin'.

    This pic was on the cover of an Okie magazine....article says Okie deer will sometimes eat antler sheds for the calcium....I know rodents will gnaw on them, quite frequently, but never saw another deer, gnawing on them, down here in MS.

    If true, then this is a once in a lifetime snapshot.

    Thanks for reminding me to renew! I haven't seen that issue yet and sure as heck never heard of deer eating sheds. Be interesting to read about!
