    Question for the techy types

Looking for a good free spyware/malware program to run on one of the laptops we have... That seems so have slowed down considerably in the past week or so.
I know LJ posted one for Sunny a while back but I can't remember the name of the program.

    Tks

Try the freebie version of this one..... https://www.malwarebytes.org

You might also try Adaware ... http://www.lavasoft.com/

Those are two good ones for scanning what's on your PC. I also use superantispyware for that purpose. They the free version of AVG for proactive AV protection.
If we all threw our problems in a pile, and you saw everyone else's problems-- you'd take yours back.

He said free. Apple stuff is highly un-free.
WARNING - Due to the rising costs of ammunition, warning shots will no longer be given.

    If you don't need it ... I guess that's kinda-sorta 'free".

I REALLY don't know why computers don't come pre-loaded with the best spyware/malware programs available anydamnway (w/free updates). Seems to me it would be in their best interests.
