Interesting! (Who knew Kansas had crappie, though?)..... I would have thought crappie would 'bite' a bit differently, but this explains a few things, and is interesting to watch if you like crappie fishing.

They sure seem to have a preference for the top jig.
Seems to prove that fish predominantly feed upwards, so it's better to place your lure above the fish then below.
