Seems like he was born about a year ago...
Mrs. Captain and I managed to fund 5 years so he gets to start life with a clean slate.

He goes to work at the Sheriffs Office in a couple of weeks.
Wow time goes by fast, Kribbs is getting old. image-2178305115.jpg

Sheeeesh! And to think I remember all of us heading out for breakfast one morning and Cheryl had to CARRY that little hammerhead! Where did the time go?

Great pic!!! Except for that dufe on the far right who had to fugly it all up!

(I still think Cheryl lost out by not meeting me first!)

BTW ... Cheryl's 4'10", you're 5'2" and I was 6'2" by time I reached Jr. H/S. (How tall is Hammerhead?) Remember one thing ... I've left more than ONE set of tire tracks in your driveway ... just sayin'.

A major congrats to all involved BTW.

First time we met we had to pick him up at preschool, Kay kept him busy in the truck while you showed me the farm.
    That was like last year.
Best of luck to the hammerhead, wish him our best, he'll do good.
The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

JB I remember Kay and Hammerhead playing basketball for a long time while you and I talked guns and hunting.
That was the day the press was after me because I had worked on getting a friend a pardon from the governor. They got my name off the petition and was trying to run me down for an interview. It was good to have a hiding place....

That right there makes even me feel proud! My condolences that the poor boy got his looks from Dad but one can only be so lucky in life!

Deputy he will start working as a jailer and within his fist year he will attend the academy and get his final certification as a road patrol officer.
He wants to work in narcotics, but I hope he changes his mind on that. I did it for several years and it is dangerous. I knew nothing was going to happen to me but the thoughts of my son being in some of the situations I was in worries me somewhat.

That's ok Nandy ... the first time I met her, I thought she was his daughter Meredith. A pretty lady ... but obviously blind as a bat! If she ever visits an optometrist, ol' Cappy is toast!

My same thoughts when I met her about 16 years ago.... That goes to tell you, no matter how ugly you are, all it matters is that you treat them right... but YOU know that Kribbo! lol!

A great big congratulations to the Hammerhead and your entire family. That "Niner Nation" tag needs to be enshrined in a place of honor. I am sure his LEO career will follow in the path of his old man.

    ROKU THINGY

Have any of you goobers tried messing with one of these new fangled ROKU TV devices yet?

Not that its kept me from chatting with you guys, but it certainly has held my interest during the last couple of weeks---between naps and fancy pain killers. Still trying to figure out the ins and outs of this thing. Y'all feel free to call or write anytime with tips or other general nonsense and I'll chat or write when I can.

I'm still working on my list---between naps and fancy pain killers that is.

If I had a kid ... I'd have to ask him what a "ROKU THINGY" is!

It's great to see you posting Bill!
