    Wow. Full flaps.

    I was in the AF when they were testing the C17 and got to see an awesome demo of what it can do, like taking off CROSSWAYS on the flight line. It was YC17 then.

    Since that's a STOL aircraft, its perfect for short takeoffs and landings.
