I am in the middle of a master bathroom remodelling project. Well, more like friggin construction than it is remodelling. Got most of the demo work done this week but thos weekend I have to remove wallpaper from two walls and its one of those jobs I hate to do.

Sunshine better keep that dad gum cussing can ready.

Didn't see you sneak in there Postie. I'm with you, I'd rather have a tooth extracted than strip wallpaper! I can't believe people actually do that for a living. I'd shoot myself first!

I'm gonna spend half my day reading the manual for Lynn's new car. DAMN! If I can master half the bells & whistles, I could prolly run the Space Shuttle! (IF we still had one!)

I had to turn down an offer to go fishing on the river so I'll spend the majority of the day doing what I have to do while pouting on the inside.

Change oil in the truck, then wash it.
    Then cut grass, trim, blow.
    Then vacuum pool.

Geez, I'm tired just thinking about it.

That's one thing I just don't do any more ... change my own oil. The Toyota dealer here does a lube/oil & filter change for $12.95 and if it's not done in 29 minutes, it's free! Heck, I can't do it in my driveway for that ... plus I don't have to haul the old oil down for recycling. The kicker is, they'll service ANY brand vehicle for that same price. (they just don't give the 29 min. guarantee for "off-brands" because there's a chance they may have to pick up a filter at NAPA) To make it even better, since the car is on the rack anyway, if you combine the oil change with a tire rotation, it's only an additional $8.00.

Can't beat that deal with a stick. It's been that price forever ... at least as long as I can remember!

I spent all last week at Scout Camp with my younger boy and dropped the older one off at he airport at 6am for a trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in NM. My plan into sit on my ass all day and drink beverages with actual ice cubes. I may make myself useful tomorrow.

Decided to start water back on all my rice acres this morning. The dirt pans got started again, been too wet, putting another 152 acres to grade . Could have went to the lake, but we decided against it this morning. Cool morning here for the 1st day of August.
