    Guess what time of year it is???
    It's BOILT GREEN PEANUT season!!!!!....Wallyworld just got in a shipment....musta been 500 pounds, sitting right up front just begging me to take a few pounds home.

    Dang Muddy! We have the roadside stands, but I've never seen 'em at Wally World before. 'Course, I also don't go in very often as Lynn does all the cooking AND shopping. I wonder if that's just a regional thing? Heck, I need to get out more. I do have a good supply of canned peanuts on hand for the off-season though. They sell these at Wally World also. Not the real thing, but they do really well in a pinch and you can just throw 'em in the microwave to heat 'em up!

    I stopped today and had a fresh batch of green boiled peanuts. They were SO good.
    I love peanut harvest time.
    Boiled peanuts are the official snack foot of GoodHunting.

    I have about 10 cans of those in my cupboard.

    Can't beat the real thing though. They don't get far enough up this way
