While I have caught a handful, well actually maybe a half a handful of brookie's bigger than these in my lifetime, I will say this is the most big brooke trout I have ever caught in one place, at one time. I'm surprised this post has so few responses just out of the fact brooke trout of this size are exceptionally rare. Maybe it's just because a lot of the regulars on here have never pursued brooke trout much, if at all. Brooke trout of this size are like the equivalent of a 12" bluegill, or a 15 lbs bass. They just don't come along like this very dang often.
