    And to clear something up

    A poll of the fishermen at Dogtooth produced a real mandate that the John Collins knot is indeed the coolest knot in fishing. And strongest and easiest to tie. For connecting or slicing lines that is.

    Sounds a bit counter-productive to me. Why would you want a knot that slices your line?
