    Whistlebritches Goes Fishing

Enough with the negative waves, Moriarity! Impossible to kill the buzz I got from earlier today fishing with my son and grandson on a frigging beautifal fall Okie day. Chris was over yesterday and we decided to let my grandson play hookie from preschool today and take him to a little lake called Claremore Lake. Near Claremore of course, home of Will Rogers! (no relation to Roy)

So we got some minners, got on the lake about 9:00 and it was a chilly motor scooter. No hill for us mountain men though.

Big fish today was Chris's five pounder.

And then he managed to skillfully snag this friggin carp and proceed to drag it around on my boat carpet. Fought like a scalded ape because it was snagged.

And even Whistlebritches got in on the action.

Beautiful day, got our poles bent, and then we came home and now we just have memories. Gooduns too!

Where's his overalls? How's he going to catch fish like Gramps without 'em?

Well, not unless P-hole was heavily into the elixir already and left out a few words:

That's my step son. I raised the man from a child so he's my son.

And I am not responsible for his poor taste in football teams.

Very nice! Is he still the little lady charmer? He had about 90% of the wimmin at the wedding fawning all over him from what I remember.

That boy has never met a female that he didn't turn the charm on.

And will still dance at the first note of music.
