    Trip report

    I shot a doe with my new .257whby mag Monday and as Larke would say she was DRT. I am taking the .300whby mag out tmrw.

    Congrats Trav! I love those DRT shots. There is no tracking.
    And that is an awesome caliber too!

    Yeah, like them too. I am really just glad I have been able to get out. I really thought my deer season was in jeopardy with the injury.

    Once you fire that .300 a few times, you may need to double up on that rehab!

    Since I am hunting from the ground I decided I wanted a heavier bullet than the 110gr the .257whby shoots since I might have to shoot through some tall grass and light brush.
