Well, I'll add a disclaimer ... there actually IS a "little" bit of science to it ... but not much.

I love me a Bloody Mary. If I'm making them at home, I'll usually start with whatever mix is available. The key is to use a decent vodka. I also typically use a dill pickle spear and a couple of almond stuffed olives instead of celery. It imparts just enough pickle/olive juice to add a different kind of flavor. A nice crisp piece of thick cut bacon is another good garnish.
