Got a text from a buddy in Jonesboro, Ark. who got 24 greenheads, 7 pintails, 2 widgeon, 17 snows, and 6 specks, this morning, all by himself.
My first thought was, day'um, that boy is waaaaaay over the limit....then, he explained that a really bad hailstorm passed thru, and killed the birds in several fields on his farm....he just picked 'em up, and went to plucking.

Wow! That is sure enough a Christmas present.
Never heard of Duck getting killed by hail but with the weather y'all had I sure can see it happening.

It rained frozen ducks in Stuttgart once.....

Just heard that there were folks up there, riding the roads and picking up dead ducks and geese over a three county area....one group had picked up over 500 ducks and geese.
