How to miss a deer and be bewildered.....

We are in our 2nd rut, down here, and deer are really moving....I've still gotta take a couple of more
    does for the shut-in folks.
Late yesterday afternoon, I shot at a big ole fat doe at about 75 yards....shoulda been a chip shot, but she just looked up, before trotting off.
Completely flabbergasted, I searched for blood until it got too dark to see.
I went back, and traced my shot path, and had completely forgotten about this old hog wire fence, being in my bullet path.
No telling where the heck that bullet richoched to.

Now that is some good shooting BM. Most folks couldn't pull that off.

Bwana, those square openings in that fence are 6"x6"....you'd think that a bullet would miss hitting it....but, NOOOO, I cut that sum-buck plum in two!!!

Shooting deer behind a 'high fence'.

    Shame, shame, shame........

Well, if a 4 ft. tall hog wire fence is what you call a high fence, then you must be one really short little fella!!!

If we do get together for a squirrel hunt, I'll bring a mini-
pony for you to ride, 'cause if yo legs is that short, ain't no way you can keep up with me and Sandy!!!

I'd pay money to see Cap'n try to get over that 4' fence
If we all threw our problems in a pile, and you saw everyone else's problems-- you'd take yours back.

That's exciting. Can I wear spurs?

Bring plenty of feed for it, ok?

Muddy, when we were young kids and could escape mom eyes we would shot birds with out pellet/bbguns. A lot of time we end up shooting thur cyclon fence and a high percentage of those shots will hit the wire so I am with you in the amazement at "whateverthatguysnameis law"...
