Birddog showed me a new fishing knot today that is going to save me a bunch of frustration. If you have ever fished with bobber stops, you know how tough it is to get one of the knots to stay tight and finally they just fall the hell off. With this, all you need is a short piece of mono amd the knot is super small, stays put wherever you slide it to, and it doesn't get loose.
You may have already known about it, but its new to me!
Here's how simple it is. Pay no attention to the color stuff, its a trout fishermans picture.
Also Keith uses three turns around the main line instead of five and it makes a nice small knot.
