    Clamageddon and National debate

Spent the weekend out at Ocean Shores Razor Clam hunting with the boy. The first day was a rough one. Winds 20 miles an hour, high surf and sideways rain made for some bad conditions. But we stuck it out and pulled in 8 between us.

Day 2 was much nicer. No wind in the 50s and blue skies. Hit the beach arounf 2 and made a small fire. Hung out and BS'd until low tide around 330. By 430 we had his, my and the wifes limit of 15 each.

That made for a long Sunday. Got up around 6 to drive back, cleaned clams until 2 then on a plane for London.

The daughter was at a national debate competition in Omaha and took home top speaker out of 150 kids. All in all a great weekend.

We don't eat geodicks or any other kind of dicks here in the Heartland.
