Please send an ark and/or a large snorkel....

Got another 5 inches of rain, last night, outta that day'um Colorado cold front....same one that sent 'naders to you Okies....add this to the 10 inches we got 2 weeks ago, which is still hanging around, makes for some serious conditions....been here all my life, and I've not seen flood waters like this, since 1958.

Back then, in May 1958, I remember my childhood buddy and I built a raft outta two 55 gal. barrels, and paddled about 3 miles, straight across all the cotton fields, into town and back....my Mom switched the sheeit outta me, when she found out.

Our old F-30 Farmall tractor was originally rigged out with steel wheels, and could only be driven in the fields, so my Dad fitted it with some old rubber tires and rims, so we could drive it to town thru the flood waters, so we could make groceries.

Now, they are saying 2-4 more inches before dark, today!!!

Our old tractor was just like this one:

I feel for ya, we're scheduled to get around 2" here, That's a lot for us, if it were 15 degrees colder that would amount to about 24" of snow.
The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

    It's Al Gore's fault.
