    Finally!

I keep hearing how great the walleye are biting on the river but due to turkey hunts, work on the new-to-me camper, preparation for graduation, etc. I have yet to get out fishing at all this year.

That changed last night but it wasn't to the river it was to a lake about an hour from home where I had heard the northerns were biting. I invited Dad along since he and Mom are in town for several weeks of radiation treatments for my mom and it turned out to be a great outing. The weather was great, the company was wonderful, and the fish were indeed biting.

In fact they were biting so well that we had three fish in the first three casts. For some silly reason my son now wants to go fishing ASAP.

OK, I REALLY need to figure out how to rotate pics as all three of these are supposed to be in the vertical format.

Maybe it is true what they say about old dogs...

When you're looking at fish from above, I'm not sure what difference it makes. Now, if the pic is of you holding a stringer full of fish, I guess it'd be a problem.

OK, that is the way is was supposed to be but I can't understand why the original showed up rotated to the left 90 degrees in the original post.

In my first test I rotated the original pic to the RIGHT 90 degrees and it appears as just that. In the second test I rotated the pic back to the LEFT 90 degrees and then it post just fine.

So if I take a pic in the vertical format with my phone I have to save it to the computer, rotate it one way, save it, and then rotate back and it will be just fine???

I'm almost certain it depends on the sin, cosine, and tangent of the x and y components of the various angles involved. Of course, I've been wrong before...
