    Edley

I see the Cards drafted a MSU kid, Dakota Hudson, in the first round. Must be a pretty good ball player! A pitcher I believe.
You got any poop on him?

We'll be happy to oblige you, kind sir. One down already.

He's a big kid from the Tenn. mountains, who migrated down to MS State....he's savvy on the mound, and was our ace pitcher this year, and put up some impressive numbers....I saw him pitch once this year, very early in the season....we arrived a little late for the game, and as we were walking up the breezeway into the stadium, he immediately caught my eye, as he's 6'5" and about 220#....I looked up at the jumbo-tron, and he had just thrown a 95 mph fast ball for a strike, followed by another one at 96 mph....I told my wife to let's hurry up and find our seats because I wanna see this kid's other stuff....his change-up is in the mid 80's, and his sinker looks like it's falling off a table top....he's really durable, and is usually good for 120 pitches....he's a good pick for the Cards.

Pitchers have certainly gotten taller haven't they?

Looking forward to seeing where this kid lands on the Cards' prospect list now.

Here's a short clip of him....notice that he occasionally uses the "spread-eagle" with his right arm, when he's gazing at the catcher for the pitch sign....it's not nearly as exaggerated as Craig Kimbrell, however.

What can you tell me about this kid BM? I'm always nervous a kid transferring this early is some sort of malcontent. But, my Wolfpack could certainly use the help!

Anyway, in answer to your quershun, CD....from what I gather, his dad, who played at MS State back in the '90s, just doesn't see eye-to-eye with the coach....the kid is a MS native, and was an outstanding five star player at Callaway H.S.

He's a big kid at 6-4, 200 lbs., and led Callaway to back-to-back state championships....as far as I know, he isn't carrying any detrimental baggage because his dad keeps a pretty strong hand on him.

He should be an asset to your Wolf Pack, if he does decide to transfer there.

It's related. I'm sellin' an old baseball bat signed by Babe Ruth. Never heard of the guy, but I figured some sucker might buy it.
