I might just eat the whole skillet-full, by myself.

Oh MAN! Fried okra! One of my all-time favorites! Now I'm hungry!

(BTW ... that's the ONLY way I can eat okra ... any other way and it may as well be frigging oysters IMHO.)

Pickled okra in a Bloody Mary works as well.

I love okra ANY way you wanna fix it....boilt, fried, stewed, pickled, sauteed, marinated, etc., etc.

Any of you old farts ever heard of spanking, switching, or whipping your garden okra???...that was another one of my farm chores.

Thump, I've never tried this okra recipe, but it sounds great, and looks to be right up your Asian food alley:

No thanks! Here's the part of that recipe that would send me running!

    1. Bring water to boil.
    2. Blanch okra for 3 - 5 minutes
    3. Dish okra from water ....

Boilt okra is one step above snot!

To many other good choices beside that sheet, goes right next to bowed peanuts as far as taste goes.
The older I get, the better I was. I also forget my password and have to have Len reset it for me

I can tear into fried okra. Don't think I've ever had it any other way.
