    CI4+

    I got my new CI4+ 1000 and 3000 and man are those nice reels, I can't wait to take them fishing.

    Just took my 1000 & 2500 out Saturday morning. They still run as smoove as ever. My other two stradics run just as well, just a little heavier.

    You will love those reels. Like Len I have a 1000 and a 2500. I wouldn't mind picking up another 1000 and adding a 3000. They are super smoothe functioning reels with great drag systems.

    Oh and Jimmy...no you can't.

    Cabelas had them on sale for $153 because the new model was coming out. I tried to get a 2500 but they have been out of stock for 4 weeks. I 3000 isn't much bigger and for $153 you beat them, that is about $80 bucks off.

    I put 10# suffix 832 Ghost and a 6# P Line Flourocarbon leader.

    I have some P Line flouro I've been using for leaders once in a while and I like it. Pretty strong for 6#.
