    Jeepers

Oklahoma weather ain't got nuttin' on Lake Charles, Looziana. Seems like any time there is a hurricane or a tropical storm, or now heavy flooding from rain, Lake Charles is right in the middle of it.

    It must be humid there.

My favorite old girlfriend lives in Lake Charles....and, yes, she was "VERY" humid in 1966....we were 16 years old, and high school sweet hearts.

    Now, she's married to a Roto-Rooter guy.

Definitely, Trav !!!!!....I could handle the up and down strokes, but I guess the Roto-Rooter guy beat me out....I guess he could do the ups and downs, lefts and rights, and all-around strokes.

I shouldn't make light of what the folks are going through down there. Historic flooding. And I'll take an ocassional tornado to frequent flooding any day.

Now you know what happened to Cappy. Years ago he found a magic lamp on the beach, rubbed it and a genie popped out. The genie granted him one wish and Cappy said he wished his pecker would hang to the ground. Poof! His legs fell off!

We're in a classic Virginny heat wave this week. Heat index of 115 today and 110 for tomorrow. We have an open house tomorrow and one of my AC units can't keep up... yes, the upstairs unit... fuck.

Try cranking down to about 50 over night tonight. Then cross your fingers.

Perzackly what I'm doing The unit that serves the top two floors has most of the duct work in unconditioned space so it's definitely a science battle up in my roof space tonight!

Two top floors? It must be a fancy place to have two top floors.

Do y'all use the fancy pot passers in the Parlor?

If the weather we're having is typical summer in Oklahoma, you can keep it. 101 here yesterday tied a record from the 1880's. The "real feel" today is supposed to be around 115. So, it's not going to be a dry heat either.

I've reached the point where I'll take this anydamnday.
