    Learned sumpin' new this weekend ...

    I bought a pile of old razors (with some misc. blades mixed in) at an estate sale this weekend. I've been spending a bit of time tonight sorting them out and getting a few of them cleaned up to list. As I was sorting through the blades, I came upon some Marlin blades. The "Marlin" script matched the script on Marlin firearms, so I decided to do a quick bit of research. I don't pay a whole lot of attention to blades, although many people collect them. About the only thing I ever do is try to match them (Gillette with Gillette for example) and try to match period correct blades with their corresponding razor.

    Anyway, here are some of the Marlin examples:
