    Opening day of deer season

Today is opening day of deer season on the SC farm and It's a zillion degrees and I'm stuck building a new barn, or at least a shed off of one of the existing barns....
Did I mention it was HOT!

Looks like it's gonna leak pretty bad when it rains. If I were you I'd put a roof from that barn over to the wall you built. That'd prolly help a lot.

Wait, don't you have a streak to continue? whacking a deer with an arrow from the SC farm stand for like, the last 175 years?

LJ, That's at my NC hunt club which comes in like the 12th of September. And I kinda-sorta broke that streak last year. I had 9 hogs come in and shot a hog opening day instead of a deer.

I'm thinking OSHA wouldn't like the looks of that scaffolding...

Hell, that's a big project for 3 fellers. Good thing it won't be hot or anything today.

I've been examining those pics VERY closely and haven't been able to spot a permit posted ANYWHERE on that job site. Since I'm still working to qualify for official SD'er status ... I feel it my duty to place a call to Code Enforcement as well as your local carpenter's union.

While you're at it, Thump, you might wanna contact the Obscenity Bureau....pretty sure I see a HUGE butt-crack on that fella on the right side of that scaffold.

As hard as it is to believe the one you are talking about (the one on the right side of the photo) is a girl...... There is NO way you would know it to look at her, no obvious figure traits and you certainly would not know it from watching her work. She carries those 80 bags of cement like they are empty and hauls those 20 foot long 2X8 rafters like they are made out of styrofoam! But when she speaks you know right away she is female.... She can out work 99.7% of men walking today in the ground. including me...

Jimmy's asleep at the wheel so I'm scooping it up in a nice pile so he can kick it it.

Well, in that case, maybe it's a camel-toe.
