    What a way....

    To start the day.
    Two cast.
One 9 pound Striper and this little 5 pound rainbow.
    This fishing is hard work.
My wife is gonna make me do this all day out here in this heat. image-3382931420.jpg

Yep on the Saluda River. The battery has died that keeps our bait wells going so we have about 15 dozen dead herring. Needless to say fishing is slow on dead bait. I've only taken 15 so far. We are taking lunch right now. No big fish image-805870423.jpg

Glad for ya, Cap....I'm a puss, when it comes to fishing in this obscene heat....97 degrees and 91% humidity, here today....not suitable to even walk outside to take a leak....I gotta sensitive badonkadink, and don't wanna get it sunburned.

Same temp here Muddy except we have unusually high winds that are keeping it cooler than it really is.

Bad slow this afternoon. After the bait tank battery went out we lost about 9 dozen herring. We jumped from the cranking battery to the bait battery as saved a few bait. But the fishing got to me more fishing than catching. I ended up the day with 19 stripers and 6 Rainbows. All the stripers were small, I think the biggest of the day my buddy caught about 15 pounds. But it was a good day.
EXCEPT for blowing out a tire on the boat trailer, on I-77 near RockHill SC and having to change it on the traffic side to boot with cars flying by. Oh and it was hotter than the hinges on the gates of Hell while doing it too! Other than THAT it was a great day...

Nice bow! I'm pretty sure you caught 19 stripers, not strippers and rainbows. Then again, maybe you did have a bunch of gay rainbow strippers on your boat, but that sounds more like a Kribbs story than a Captain story.

Dead battery??? Flat tire??? What kinda ghetto rig are youse dufes fishin' out'ta? Oh, and nice TRY on the striper pics, but we ain't idiots. You take a pic of the only Striper ya' caught all day, put a kid's size 3 shoe next to it for a size reference, then flip it over on it's OTHER side for another pic, then try to convince us it's TWO fish! You should'a just stayed home.

Oh yeah ..... and BITE ME B/S!

Strippers probably would have been more fun... I guess auto correct strikes again.

19 strippers is an awful lot of lap dances. There's probably not a dollar bill left in circulation in both the Carolina's.
