    Love FALL!!!

What a great day after work looks like. This was yesterday. Living in Montana is a very cool thing just incase you ever wondered.

One more nice male brookie all colored up.

Plus a really cool bonus find on the way in. Even an old dog finds a bone now and then.

Very nice BS! How do you like that fishing vest? Do you wade with it? Can it carry a lot of stuff? Is it handy? Can you tie a new rig on quickly? Can it hold water? Do you recommend it for a river fisherman? I like my backpack setup but my only complaint is having to sling it around to switch baits.

Len I quite like the vest and don't know what I'd do without it anymore. It goes everywhere with me when I fish. It can carry a lot of stuff and I looked around quite a bit before I found one with big enough pockets for most of what I carry. It is very handy. Not sure what the vest has to do with tying on a rig quickly, but yes I tie up fast. The fest is not water proof but designed to drain water if it gets wet. Using a back pack like you are currently doing would drive me crazy having to turn it around all the time. I use the heck out of my day pack, but it's mostly for hunting unless I'm hiking in somewhere for a long day trip. Even then, I'm still wearing my fishing vest. It's like having the best of both worlds when I have the vest and the pack.

Thanks. What I meant by rigging quickly is with my backpack (assume I'm always standing in the river) I have to take one shoulder strap off and swing it around to access my tackle. If I had everything in my vest it seems like I could solve that problem.

Oh, and why do you have hemostats? I'm assuming you'd be the first weed smoking Mormon I know

I use the hemostats to remove hooks from the fish. They are lighter and handier than needle nose pliers.

    Gorgeous..
If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.
