You need Bwana's sisters email address!
I'm hunting the farm for the first time and have seen one peckerhead buck and 6 does so far this morning

Ended up seeing about 20 deer total this morning....not a horn in the bunch....but, my game camera tells a different story....those horny bastages will eventually show themselves, during shooting hours, instead of 3 AM on camera.

As my Uncle Bill once told me when I complained about nocturnal bucks, "Best I remember you did most of your pussy chasing at night."

I guess he had a point.

But it was an ever present pursuit. Very much like a dog chasing a car.

Ah Man! That would or have been cool for him to hit that buck!
    Maybe this afternoon.

Back HOME??? You need to teach that boy to pack a lunch and spend ALL day in that stand. I always hit my stand before dawn and never come out until dark. I couldn't count the nice noon-time bucks I've shot. I always figured they were up and moving after being stirred up by guys leaving their stands to go home for lunch. I hope he gets a second chance.

If he does, Nandy, you can bet there'll be pics posted....that is a really nice buck.

And, Thump, you're right....personally, the hours from 11 am to 2pm are my favorite times to be in the woods....and, the boy usually does the same, but he had to come out of the woods in time to go to church.

QA, if your buddy's name isn't Charles Davis, then he has an identical twin or a doppleganger.

    Beautiful buck, btw. !!!

Nice deer if he's let it grow another year.

Gosh dang that is a big bodied deer. Any idea what he weighed? I'm guess 185 or so.

Mr. Good Bar, a VERY nice chocolate-horn, just walked by me. Haven't seen him before. Got some hinky-looking stickers around base of antlers. I let him walk. I just give 'em funny names, and let the kids try to outsmart 'em.
    Beautiful buck for sure !!!

    I'm swagging him at 147 net B&C score....got a lot of deductions....that's the reason I dislike B&C scoring methods.
