When we remodeled the kitchen we converted to gas cook stove. When they ran the gas pipe from outside tank to the stove, we had them run it a 'few' more feet to the back room.....that is the coldest room in the house in the winter, and it's getting worse as we get older! So, we had pipe run to a place where the original house had a woodburning stove and and a 'chimney', just a small flue leading through roof, for one of those pellet stoves, long gone.........there it sat, we haven't ever bought a heater.
The back room is big, I don't know how many square feet, but off the top of my head it's probably...........25 X 16..........it's as long as my carport, and maybe 16' wide. That's where we 'live'. And we stay cold back there in the winter.
OK, found this heater for sale for $90.00. Guy is selling cause he moved to the country to an all electric house. This is Natural Gas, and of course I need LP. He doesn't know the brand...or I'd look up specs on internet.
A) Is this worth it?
B) Most important, can I get an LP conversion thingy to hook it up to the gas pipe sticking out of wall, and do I need to change orifices? In other words is it worth it?
