I really liked old Kirk. Godspeed.
A couple of my favorites he was in are never mentioned. Big Sky and The Heroes of Telemark. I have those recorded on my DVR and watch them at least once a year.
The last of the golden era of Hollywood.

I remember being very sad when I first heard that Lauren Bacall had died. She was the person I thought personified the grace and charm of a bygone era before I was around.... and judging by the Super Bowl half time show, one I'll never see come around again in my lifetime.
