Spent the weekend either running to Menards for samples and supplies or actually working in the shop.
Progress has been mighty slow between being sick and other obligations but as the wife says, we aren't in any rush.
As for daytime activity...not everyone on the site is retired you know.

Spring seems to be mighty early hereabouts this year and I’m hoping like heck to get out a few more times this winter. A 6-4 in Dec and a 6-0 in Jan. I’d sure like to bag another 10+ in my lifetime. May be this is the season to do it. I know the waters they swim in really well.

BBP, having survived Montana winters for the last 25 years I forgot how much I love a more milder winter. I can't believe I'm fishing open water on a lake in February. Now some of you southern boys expect to do that, but it's unheard of in the northern states. It can freeze up here as well, but it's been relatively mild and I'm loving it. I hope you get your big bass. I'm actually going to be fishing for them this spring. It's been a long time since I could target good sized bass. I'm looking forward to it.
You need to bug Captain to send you some ‘Larke Lures’. Best bass bait I’ve seen in a long time. It’s just basically a bigger model of a beetle spin but the bigger profile really makes the difference.
