It's very hard to tell if it's warranted or not. I heard a doctor who's treated a good many of the victims of this thing say it was only serious for maybe 20% of those who catch it. These were the ones where it moved from the sinuses into the lungs.
But it "seemed" to start damaging the lungs like pneumonia almost as soon as it moved into the lungs. Permanent damage? He didn't know.
In any event, even if it only kills one in several hundred of the young who get it... Who would willingly roll the dice?
