Good for them. I was a HUGE Zep fan and had Led Zep, Led ZepII, III and IV on 8-track. I think I 'bout wore those tapes out!

Every 8 track veteran knows how to fold up a matchbook cover to stick in the side of the tape to keep the tape from dragging.

Yep. I was also an expert on how to "snap" a tape back into the case when it got hung up while removing it from the player and you had 3-feet of unwound tape hanging out. I saved MANY "ruined" tapes that way.

That was such a bullshit case to begin with. Just a money grab by the family of the decedent. They'd have better luck going after Jim Croce for the same walk down chord progression on Time In a Bottle. There's only 7 notes, people. Shit's gonna sound the same.
