K.T. Oslin has passed away at 78 y.o......I had a crush on her way back when, and she had a good voice, too.

Buncha uncoof numbnutz.!!!.....she's in every sorta country music hall of fame in existence.....admittedly, more so for her songwriting, but she had one of those smooth country female voices, too, not that twangy stuff.....like Tpost said, "80's Ladies" sorta lit up her singing career.

She was of an age when most country music ‘artists’ were grownups.

You have to admit that the 80's country music was forgettable at best
It’s just something I TRY to forget.

John Anderson, Exile, Terri Gibbs, and Vince Gill, just to name a few weren't forgettable? Only memorable thing Dwight Yoakam did was get killed by Billy Bob Thornton in Slingblade.
I have a Dwight Yoakum Unplugged album that is one of my regulars. I’m a fan of Buck and Dwight’s Bakersfield sound of country back in the day. Old Buck was a legend in country music, IMO.
