    Five Rough characters

    This gang of five showed up in my yard today, feasting on ash buds that just popped.

    I can officially start spring now.

    Not very good light for the pic either but you get the picture.

    They raid a big holly bush at work every year, takes about 2 weeks for them to clean it out. They rotate between the holly bushes and some oaks overlooking the parking lot. stains up a lot of cars

    They eat the berries in those hollies? Red bird poop? that would leave a mark.

    Cool looking birds. Wish we had some in my part of the country.

    I have a couple of bird houses on me front porch deck. One of them I can see from the dinner table.
    Had a pair of Eastern Bluebirds eyeballing it for the last few days. I hope they decide to move in.,
    My "disability" does not make me "disabled".

    Niner, we gots them birds. Been seein them all my life. They hang in flocks and resemble a small female cardinal. And their feathers look "waxed".
