I’m a fried spam conniseur. I usually eat half the slices as they cool offa little out of the pan and save a couple slices that might makevit to a sandwich. I remember being poor enough to bake a loaf of spam in the oven with cloves stuck in it like a ham for Christmas one year when I was in the AF.

If you’re a Spam connoisseur then you know that you can slice it thin, roll it in flour, and fry it crunchy and it’s even more better

Spam is legit. But, I’ll take a scrapple and egg sandwich over it.

I like it sliced really thinly and fried 'til crispy ... with eggs, toast, etc. Lynn makes a very good SPAM fried rice.

You guys crack me up sometimes. 😊

Reminds me of when I moved to NC and discovered liver mush. Didn't expect to like it but I did. I'm betting Cappy could have given us a real lecture on the various ways it can be made into grand cuisine lol.

Heck, they even have Japanese Musubi or Onigiri made with SPAM! (easily found in Japan and Hawaii)

If I didn’t t have family that lived in PA, I would have no idea what scrapple was. Never seen it anywhere here in the Midwest.

I refer to it as “the King of the Breakfast Meats”. But, I’m originally from Delaware and grew up on it.

Scrapple is one of those things that you eat, but are better off not knowing what it is made of. It's one of those regional things ... there's something similar in the south called "liver mush". Whatever floats your boat.

There isn’t nearly as much bad stuff in scrapple as the name implies. It’s mostly cornmeal seasonings and broth with a few tasty bits mixed in.

Actually, the locals kind of confused me. Most of the young hotties kept calling me Adonis, while the more “mature” ladies always called me Apollo. Heck, I have no idea where those names came from or why they called me that, but I just rolled with it to be polite.
