The science folk are saying the sun just burped out a big bunch of plasma right at us. We’ll either get some really cool lights in places we don’t normally or it may be the apocalypse, or maybe both.
Might be worth staying up for either way. I’ve stayed up for worth.

Yep. Word is, we’re too far south to catch it, so I guess I’ll be sleeping through the light show. Bummer.
My old Ohio hunting partner passed away years ago, but I’m still close with the family. His widow sent me this shot that she took last night. I couldn’t tell you how many hours he and I spent during our walleye fishing/bear hunting trips watching the lights out over the lake in Northern Ontario Canada.
