    Vampire deer.....

Looks like I need to be careful walking in.... I might get attacked by a vampire deer...
I know, but it sure made me look twice.

You've been in the woods too long.

I wish I could hunt where the undergrowth is that clean. My gracious goodness. The work we do just to get a sight lane in the woods!!! We have to drive to town and go to the Walmart parking lot to see ground that clean and open.

You can, just go get about 2.5 gallons of Arsonal at about $350 bucks and mix 2 ounces per gallon of water and spray around the area you hunt. it will not hurt pines or cedars at that rate and EVERYTHING else will be gone. For 2 years gone.
Between the farm and the hunt club I go through about a gallon and a half to 2 gallons each year.
GOOD stuff and the timber company loves you for it.
    A gum tree don't stand a China-man's chance. I HATE gum trees.
Don't matter if you don't spray the leaves just spray the bark or the ground around the tree,,,, any oak, gum, or hardwood it DRT....

They don't allow it. And I get why you'd kill a gum (PLEASE come to my house). But why kill other hardwoods? That's a Capital Offense!!!

I didn't say I DID kill the oaks. I said it WOULD kill ANY hardwood. So you have to be careful. And just cause its a tall old fully mature tree that you cannot spray the leaves don't think its safe. If you spray the ground or bark it's dead. Bestious stuff ever!
And timber companies use it by the gallons! And love when lease holders do. Cutting out the scrub will make their pines jump in growth!

It's natural, not touched up or anything. Take a GOOD look. It took me awhile to figure out too...

Man, that pic had me puzzled, too....so, I showed it to a wildlife expert, and he said it's a Chinese water deer....they were accidently released into the wild by pet owners....they are ferocious fighters, with those fangs....during the rut, they slash and kill their opponents, and have been known to attack hunters....they have been occasionally spotted in remote areas of Texas, Arkansas, Tenn., and South Carolina.

If you turn a dog loose to hunt – you’d better to be ready to deal with what he trees.

Yep, Hide, I googled around, and found where a hunter, somewhere up in northern Ark. got his ass-cheeks nearly ripped off by one of those little bastages, while he was turkey hunting.

So what do you spray that kills only pine trees and not hardwoods and gums? I want some of that so spray all over south Arkansas. I remember squirrel hunting in the "mixed" pines and upland oaks and oak bottoms when I was a kid. Now it's all one big patch of green cotton and I hate it. I'd love to when the lottery and rent a few crop dusters filled with such a magical chemical.......................................... .......................

I still haven't figured out the photo glitch that causing the one "vampire deer", but I think the one up front is a werewolf or some other shapeshifter caught "mid-shift" ;-)

That's the only thing I could come up with Arty. I also thought maybe it was a button buck and he was gettin' all excited smellin' that little doe ahead of him. They kind'a curl up their lips like that at times. I have no clue .. just figured he was chewing and the camera caught him with his lower jaw dropped.

Ha ha ha! I get it. I guess you can read it two different ways. I wondered how you could get the whole thing bassackwards!
