    My kind of porn

BPS Master Fishing catalogue came I don't know when. Was taking the old papers to the recycle bin and found it in the stack. My wife claimed ignorance.
    Pshaw.

I would find it difficult to buy her story if the BPS fishing catalog was say, the size and weight of victorias secret. It ain't. That bad boy has the heft of the old school sears Christmas catalog! I sure enjoyed looking thru it! I think I'm all set for gear this year. I need to stock up on my regular terminal tackle and soft baits but that's about it other than building two new rods

At Dogtooth last year, I decided that a line counter reel and trolling rod was going to be my next fishing gear purchase. By December that had turned into a fly rod and reel. Now I'm really thinking I need a new spinning rod and reel. I'm down to two active rigs and both of those have about five seasons and some hard fishing on them. I can only afford one of these three this year. Gonna have to spend the winter figuring that out unless I win the lottery or something.

They just opened an Orvis store near me. I've been avoiding going in there for a few reasons. Man what a yuppie mecca. But... the quality of their stuff is pretty damn impressive! I practically ran out of the place before I started folndling the rigs... we all know what THAT leads to.
