... I'll give youse dufes a huge target. (no pun intended)
This weekend we were invited to a friend's house for dinner. While there, the landscaping guy found a small kitten trapped in a storm drain and rescued her. After scouring the neighborhood, nobody recognized her, so we assumed, as young as she is and as dirty as she was, she was feral. Of course I'm sure you can guess who the suckers are who ended up taking her home. Well, at first she was terrified but once I got her calmed down, she turned into a complete sweetheart and a total "daddy's girl".
She's got bright blue eyes ... slightly crossed ... so I assume she has a bit of Siamese in her (how fitting ... a Thai cat!)
Here we are for our Sunday afternoon nap ...

And here's her reaction when Lynn told her she had an appointment with the ASPCA to get spayed and all of her shots first thing Monday morning!

Lynn burned up the phones trying to find a home for her and ended up finding a co-worker who wanted her. By this time we'd pretty much bonded and here's her reaction to the news she was being adopted out once she recovers from her surgery and shots.

Anyway, I picked her up yesterday afternoon and once the anesthesia wore off, she was back to being a loving, playful little ball of fur. I'll be dropping her off at Lynn's work this afternoon to meet her new parents. I think I'm gonna miss the little shit to be honest. She's curled up in my lap, purring loudly, as I type this.
