Where are the heads? Best tasting meat is on the head.
I shoots them in the heads.

Technically, that's a cooking pic.
I took my .22 mag and some FMJ's to work week last week. Just never had time to go with all the drama.

Kick in a little commission and I can sell that Griswold on eBay for ya'! It'd sell in a New York minute with that lid.

My favorite recipe for squirrel is squirrel dumplins. Especiallybif you can get some young greys.

I make squirrel and dumplin's and more often "creamed" squirrel and biscuits. But, I go the other way. I keep my "old" squirrels separate and use them. Good way to cook them tender. Young squirrels get fried, steamed a little and gravy made. I'm probably on track to shoot about a hundred this year (I think my "record" is 147). My dad, both my sisters and a couple old hunters who can't get out anymore love me this time of year.

another vile thing you "southern" people have to put up with we don't. Seen about 3 in my life - one on a dog an the others on cattle.

Our squirrels here get them bad some years. I don't remeber seeing them on greys though, just the reds mainly.
