Big Do-in's Going On Round Here!!!

I haven't been posting much lately because I have a lot of irons in the fire right now. However, I want to share the most exciting news of anything that is going on in my life this week. Many of you have met my oldest son in person. He's no longer a little boy and is all grown up and taking a big step in his life. He tricked his girlfriend into thinking they were going up in the mountains to do a photo shoot to help a family friend promote their photography business. The photographer distracted my son's girlfriend for a split second. In that second my son got on one knee and when his girlfriend turned around this was the reaction.

Here she is closing the distance. She did not have a single clue he was going to propose to her. I think it's flat out awesome they were able to capture the special moment on film.

So here's my mountain man looking son and his fiancé after she accepted the proposal. We love her to death and we are super happy for the both of them.

    Good grief.

Your whole family should be in the Cool Picture Hall of Fame.

    Plus, congrats to them both!

That is really cool! Love the pics. Heck, in the future, those should be as treasured as the wedding photos. Nice job!

It may sound kinda dumb ... but I'd have to say the setting is "picture perfect". Really, REALLY nice photos.

Thump I have to agree. It kind'a blew me away when he sent me the photos. It's getting close to the redline Cool-O-Meter Len so often shows us.

It's amazing is what it is.

But I'm also amazed at what you Yankees wear in such conditions!!!

Those images are what it's all about. Very good stuff! Fantastic moments and emotions. My first thought was "awwwww MAN I WOULD LOVE to shoot that!" Great looking couple and stunning scenery. The exposures for that setting are very difficult to get right and it's not easily corrected in post processing so hats off to whoever shot that!

    Congrats to your family BS!
